Members are welcome to join in a wide variety of activities.
Repairs and Projects are carried out for Schools, Community Groups, General Public also along with a constantly changing selection of Toys and Wares that are sold at Craft Fairs, as well as Personal Projects.
We have a newly established metal workshop with lathe, welder and most hand tools required.
Our vegetable gardens are established and growing well, They cover several hundred square metres and boasts some of the largest kumara and tomatoes around, with produce being sold on site fresh out
of the ground as well as donated to some community organizations.
Recently a major project has been the addition of a lounge and kitchen on the front of our premise.
The intended purpose of the area is to create a space for members to take a break from activities, relax and talk amongst each other. We hope to complete the interior within the coming months.
We value the creativity, individual skills of our members. This helps all of us to achieve our project goals using collective knowledge and experience
The addition of the Log Fire in the lounge has been very welcome over the winter months keeping members warm while enjoying a chat,a game of cards or similar or just
taking a break from their toils.
Visitors are very welcome
